Dragonhatch Once, long ago, in the land of dragons, there was a dragon called Reginald. On the day of our story, Reginald had woken up early. Today it was his turn to look after the dragon’s eggs. They were all in a special place. A field with a gate on the sunny side of the village, and always someone on duty. It took fifty years for a dragon’s egg to hatch. No-one was going to sit on them for fifty years, so they were all kept together and every dragon took a turn to watch over them. |
